GUWAHATI: Assam Pradesh Congress Committee, President, Ripun Bora was arrested on Thursday for protesting outside Reserve Bank of India Guwahati against the BJP-led Government's demonetisation move, which completed 2 years on 8th November.
Along with Bora, Leader of the Opposition in the Assam Assembly, Debabrata Saikia, former minister Rockybul Hussain and Gaurav Gogoi, too, were arrested by the Panbazar police.
