GUWAHATI: 15 individuals were detained in Morigaon for alleged cyber-criminal activities on December 12.
Teams from Laharighat and Moirabari Police Stations carried out late-night raids at different locations, leading to the apprehensions.

Talking to GPlus, a police official from Moirabari Police Station said, “We recovered a significant number of documents and electronic devices, including Aadhar Cards, PAN Cards, SIM Cards, mobile phones, and a laptop, and are continuing to recover incriminating materials.”
The detained individuals are now facing charges under relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC), as per reports. The investigation is ongoing, and the detained individuals will face legal proceedings as per police information.
