The Hatigaon Police on Thursday detained 5 persons in connection with the murder of Hemant Chaucharia, a businessman from Hatigaon.
The five persons, who are Chausaria's employees, have been detained for further questioning in the murder case.
Hemant Chaucharia was a businessman and owned a grocery shop. He was shot dead on Wednesday evening while he was on his way to his shop.

According to unconfirmed reports, the assilants tried to snatch the bag of money which Chaucharia was carrying, but were unable to do so.
