Shah Confident Of 100+ Seats In First Two Phases, 400+ Overall

 

GUWAHATI: Union Minister Amit Shah, speaking at a press conference held at A.B. Vajpayee Bhawan in Basistha, Guwahati, on April 30, expressed confidence in his party's performance in the ongoing elections. 

Shah stated, "Two phases of the elections have concluded, and our internal assessment indicates that we are poised to win over 100 seats. We are on track to cross the 400-seat mark. We have performed well in Assam, Bengal, Uttarakhand, and Rajasthan."

Regarding the elections in Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, and Kerala, Shah mentioned, "Although the elections in southern India have concluded, the initial trends suggest that we are performing very well." 

He also added that in recent days, the Congress party has begun to challenge the BJP's aim of crossing the 400-seat mark in the elections.

He further said that accusations have emerged of a misinformation campaign by the Congress, claiming that the BJP intends to alter the Constitution and eliminate reservation policies. However, Amit Shah dismissed these allegations as completely 'baseless'.
