GUWAHATI: YouTuber Apoorva Makhija on Saturday, April 26, appeared before the Crime Branch for questioning in connection with a case related to objectionable comments made about the reality show India Got Latent.

The case, registered under Cyber Police Station case number 03/2025, had earlier seen summons issued to five YouTubers — Ashish Chanchlani, Ranveer Allahbadia, Samar Raina, Jaspreet Singh, and Apurva Makhija.
Apoorva Makhija, who was earlier asked to appear on April 22 but failed to turn up citing personal reasons, recorded his statement before investigating officers today.
According to officials, Mukhija cooperated during questioning. The Crime Branch said that a chargesheet in the case will be filed soon.
All five YouTubers are expected to be named as prime accused in the chargesheet.
