We want a second term for PM Narendra Modi: Atul Bora

GUWAHATI: AGP president and State Agriculture minister Atul Bora on Friday said that the party is firm on its stand against the Citizenship (Amendment) Bill, 2016 issue. The AGP president said that though there are differences between the two allies regarding the bill which will eventually be discussed and solved. The purpose of re-alliance is to defeat the Congress, Bora said.

Further, he requested AGP workers and the people to show support to the alliance and to party for greater interest. Bora was confident that AGP will win from all the seats they will contest.

“The State witnessed massive development since Prime Minister Modi came to power and we want a Second term for him as the Prime Minister,” said Bora.

On 12 March both the BJP and AGP agreed for re alliance after a late night meeting at Guwahati in the presence of BJP National General Secretary Ram Madhav.
