GUWAHATI: Anil Baruah, a veteran journalist and former editor of Dainik Asom, breathed his last on Tuesday at the age of 84.
Baruah passed away at Nemcare Hospital in Guwahati around 6:50 PM on November 28.
Media reports indicate that Anil Baruah had been battling a heart ailment, and he was admitted to Nemcare Hospital at 1:44 AM on Tuesday in a critical condition. Despite medical efforts, he succumbed to his illness later in the day.
