GUWAHATI: Veteran actress Shabana Azmi was seriously injured in an accident on Mumbai-Pune expressway on January 18.
According to reports, the accident took place on saturday afternoon in Maharashtra's Raigad district.
At around 3.30 pm near Khalapur, around 60 km from Mumbai, the car in which she was traveling rammed into a truck, PTI said in a report.

She was rushed to MGM hospital in Navi Mumbai and is reportedly undergoing treatment.
It is to be mentioned that Azmi was last in Guwahati in 2017 to perform at the G Plus Guwahati Theatre Festival where she performed a solo act with the play Broken Images which drew a full house.
