In a blood-curling incident, a man from a village in Uttar Pradesh was spotted roaming with the severed head of his teenage daughter. The incident which took place over a 'love affair' has left people shocked.
Reportedly, the man, who severed his 17-year-old daughter's head wasn't happy about her relationship with a man.
The horrific incident has been captured in a video which has gone viral on social media. In the video, Sarvesh Kumar, a vegetable vendor, is seen holding his daughter's severed head and flashing the victory sign on the road on March 3.
Sources said that the man walked 2 km with the severed head of his daughter in the village when one of the residents informed the police.
Moreover, reports suggest that Kumar beheaded his daughter without anyone's help. He told police that the deceased's body can be found in the room where he chopped her head.
Meanwhile, a video surfaced on social media, wherein a police constable was seen holding the victim’s chopped head and strolling in the police station. Taking cognizance of the gross indiscipline, IG (Lucknow range) Lakshmi Singh placed the constable under suspension.
Hardoi Superintendent Anurag Vats told the media that Kumar's wife had testified against him in her statement to the police.
