GUWAHATI: Tension emerged near the Shantipur area of Bharalumukh on Thursday, May 2 after some parts of human skeletal parts were reported to be found near a drain.
Speaking to GPlus, Aditya Shah, a witness shared, "The skull and other parts of the human skeleton were noticed in a drain opposite to a pan bhandar in Masjid gali. The police were informed but shockingly, an e-rickshaw driver took a portion of the skull and fled before their arrival."

Meanwhile, an official from the Bharalumukh police station said, "We were informed about the incident and noticed that a few parts of human skeleton were lying in that area. We believe stray dogs might have carried the pieces from Bhootnath cremation ground and dumped it there."
