GUWAHATI: The Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA), Government of India has ordered for the third phase of unlock of the nationwide lockdown.
A notice issued by the Press Information Bureau states that Unlock 3 will come into effect from 1st August.

As per the new guidelines, night curfew will be removed. Gymnasiums and yoga institutes are being finally allowed to open from 5th August.
However, educational institutions along with theatres, metro services, swimming pools, and bars are to remain closed till 31st August.
The order from the Ministry of Home Affairs however clearly mentioned that states and union territories may accept or prohibit the guidelines based on the assessment of their respective situations.
However, there shall be no restriction on inter-state and intra-state movement of persons or goods. No separate permission/approval/e-permit will be required for such movement.
