GUWAHATI: Two men were seriously injured after a motorcycle they were riding rammed into a divider over the National Highway in Guwahati. The incident was reported from the Sarusajai area on Wednesday night, February 21.
Police have said that they suspect the two riders were under the influence of alcohol and were over-speeding. They also recovered bottles of liquor from the spot of the accident. They were driving towards Lokhra from Basistha when the incident occurred.
The men have been identified as Kaushik Das and Rony. They were admitted to Health City Hospital and Police are awaiting medical reports.
