GUWAHATI: The Board of Secondary Education, Assam (SEBA) has released detailed instructions for candidates seeking to re-check their answer scripts and obtain scanned copies of their answer sheets and OMR with answer key for the HSLC Examination, 2024.
Procedure for re-checking of evaluated answer scripts:
• Candidates must apply through SEBA's official website, sebaonline.org.
• They should click on the link "APPLY FOR RE-CHECKING & Scanned copy of ANSWER SCRIPTS and OMR with Answer Key."
• Candidates must select the option for "RE-CHECKING & Scanned copy of ANSWER SCRIPTS" and choose the subjects for which they want re-checking.
• Necessary information should be provided in the portal, and fees must be paid online.
• The fee for re-checking of answer scripts and obtaining scanned copies (excluding OMR) is Rs. 400 per subject.
• Re-checking includes re-totalling of marks, assessing unanswered questions, and correcting any errors in mark entries.
• Results of re-checking will be communicated to applicants via SMS and email within 30 days.

Procedure for obtaining scanned copies of OMR with answer key:
• Applicants can apply for scanned copies of OMR and answer keys through SEBA's website.
• They should follow similar steps as above and select the option for "Scanned copy of OMR and Answer Key."
• Candidates must pay the required fee of Rs. 50 per subject.
• Scanned copies will be provided within 30 days of application.
General Instructions:
• The application portal will open two days after results are declared until May 7.
• Candidates must apply within 15 days from the opening of the portal.
• No offline applications will be accepted, and incomplete applications will be rejected.
• Applicants must give an undertaking not to share scanned copies for commercial purposes.
• SEBA will not be liable for delays beyond its control.

Additionally, a separate process is outlined for obtaining OMR sheets along with answer keys, with similar guidelines and undertakings required from applicants. The procedure will be available on SEBA's website.
