GUWAHATI: Artist R Baruah, an Assamese based out of United States portrays the impact of Citizenship Amendment Act 2019 which had created a turmoil in the entire country especially the Northeast.
Baruah's sketches explain light and contrast portrait art, portrait Sketches of the state of Assam marked as the 'Golden Assam' wherein all the communities irrespective of caste and creed lived peacefully until the CAA was tabled. The sketches also portrays the effects after the implementation of CAA.
