TET qualified teachers to continue job without reappearing for exam

GUWAHATI: The State Education Department has issued a notification stating that Teachers Eligibility Test (TET) qualified teachers can continue their jobs and do not have to reappear for TET examinations.

The notification for this was issued by Additional Chief Secretary of Assam Education Department, Manindar Singh.

It should be noted that approximately 11,447 state-pool teachers and 30,087 SSA teachers have been demanding regularization of their jobs.
