GUWAHATI:  Former Assam chief minister Tarun Gogoi, today criticised the BJP led-Government on the failure of delivering the APSC scam verdict. Addressing a press meet, Gogoi said that the APSC exam scam should be treated at a Fast Track Court.

Adding to that, Gogoi said that the Karbi Anglong lynching’s main culprits must be identified and brought to the public. He even demanded for a judicial enquiry on the failure of police and administration as serious lapses were found on their part.

Commenting on the ‘World Yoga Day’, Gogoi said that Prime Minster Narendra Modi’s yoga is nothing but a political gimmick, and Congress leaders have been doing yoga without using it as a political tool.

“If Modi loves Assam so much by carrying the Assamese gamusa (towel) in yoga videos, why did he bring in the Citizenship Amendment Bill? Why he is not releasing money for floods? Why has he removed Assam's special status?” asked Gogoi.

He wears gamusa, but cuts other sources of support, commented Gogoi.

Claiming that apart from projects started by Congress, the BJP led-Government has done nothing on its own for the nation’s interest.
