GUWAHATI: In yet another operation against drugs, the Government Railway Police confiscated 1.6 kilograms of suspected Morphine from a person in Guwahati, on Wednesday morning.

The Guwahati Government Railway Police Station (GRPS) has initiated necessary legal action following the confiscation.

GRPS took to X to put out a statement, which read, “#WarAgainstDrugs This morning, Guwahati GRPS seized 1.6 KG of suspected Morphine from one accused person. Necessary Legal action has been initiated.”
