Leopard Cat Rescued From Guwahati's Kalapahar

 

GUWAHATI: A leopard cat- around two to three months old- was rescued from the Kalapahar area of Guwahati on Sunday, March 9.

According to the Guwahati Range Officer, a team was dispatched to safely retrieve the young leopard cat after it was spotted in Kalapahar. The rescued animal is expected to be handed over to the appropriate authorities for further care and rehabilitation.

Earlier, on December 27, a leopard entered a house in Kumarpara Panchali, near Bharalumukh, was rescued by forest department officials from an apartment building.
