GUWAHATI: Special Task Force (STF), Assam seized suspected heroin along with other illicit items in an operation in Basistha on January 10.
According to intelligence received, STF, Assam in a raid on Wednesday in Koinadhora, Basistha seized 31 gram of suspected heroin along with ₹21,000 in cash and two mobile phones. The alleged peddler apprehended is suspected to be from Ribhoi, Meghalaya.

STF also took to X to put out, “Another raid by STF at Koinadhara, Basistha PS. A drugs peddler from RiBhoi, Meghalaya has been apprehended. Seizure includes — heroin 31g, ₹21,000 & 2 mobile phones.”
Investigations are underway as we await further details.
