GUWAHATI: A team from the Special Task Force (STF) Assam, led by Inspector Kapil Pathak, arrested a suspect and seized ₹2,99,500 in Fake Indian Currency Notes (FICN) during an operation in Khanapara under Dispur PS on Sunday, December 1.

The operation, part of an ongoing investigation into a STF PS case, resulted in the immediate detention of an individual for further questioning.
In addition to the counterfeit currency, authorities also seized a mobile phone and other related items.
