GUWAHATI: The Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR) has decided to operate several one-way special trains to accommodate the extra passenger load, as per an official notification on December 10.
These special trains will run on specific routes, offering a single-trip service between December 12 and December 14, 2023. The schedule for these one-way special trains is as follows:
-Train No. 05877 (Rangapara North – Rani Kamalapati) which will depart from Rangapara North at 08:00 hours on December 12, 2023 (Tuesday). The train will arrive at Rani Kamalapati at 04:00 hours on December 14, 2023 (Thursday). The designated route will be through Rangapara North, Rangiya Jn., New Coochbehar, New Jalpaiguri Jn., Barauni Jn., Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Jn., Itarsi Jn., etc.
-Train No. 05679 (Guwahati – Udhana Jn) which will depart Guwahati at 20:30 hours on December 12, 2023 (Tuesday) and arrive at Udhana Jn at 14:50 hours on December 14, 2023 (Thursday) going along Guwahati, New Bongaigaon, New Jalpaiguri, Katihar Jn, Jabalpur, Khandwa Jn., etc.
Passengers with waitlisted tickets on other trains along these routes are encouraged to take advantage of these additional special trains for a more comfortable travel experience.
