GUWAHATI: At the inauguration of the Vande Bharat Express in New Delhi on February 15, PM Modi paid tribute to CRPF soldiers, almost 40 in numbers, who lost their lives in a terror attack in Awantipora in Pulwama district, Jammu and Kashmir.

He said that the “forces behind the terrorist act will be punished. Our security forces have been given full freedom. We have full faith in their bravery.”

The Prime Minister further added that if Pakistan, our neighbour is totally isolated in the world and if it thinks that it can destabilise India through its tactics and conspiracies, then it is making a big mistake.

PM Modi even thanked all the nations who have supported India and he has condemned this act of terror in the “strongest of terms.”

“A strong reply will be given to this attack,” he said.
