GUWAHATI: The Secondary Education Board of Assam (SEBA) has announced that results of some candidates have been withheld for various reasons. In a notification, SEBA outlined the steps that affected candidates must take to clear their results.

According to the notification, some candidates received provisional admit cards or admit cards despite anomalies in their registration process for the HSLC Examination, 2024. These candidates are required to submit an application along with their original registration card and admit card, duly endorsed by the school's principal or headmaster/headmistress, within seven days from the date of result declaration, if necessary.

For candidates whose results have been withheld for reasons other than registration anomalies, they must appear before the Clearance Committee of Examination, SEBA, for a personal hearing. They must bring a letter of identification from the heads of their respective schools, along with their original admit card and registration card, after seven days from the date of declaration of the results. Failure to claim withheld results within four months will result in automatic cancellation.

Additionally, the notification states that applications for correction of certificate-cum-mark sheets, excluding marks, must be submitted through the concerned heads of institutes within thirty days from the date of declaration of results.

Results withheld for other reasons will undergo an enquiry and clearance process by the relevant committee of the board.
