GUWAHATI: The female students are ahead of their male counterparts in the Commerce stream as per the Assam HS 2024 results declared today.

With 10783 males passed out of 12344 appeared the pass percentage stands at 87.34% which is lower than the female pass percentage of 90.53%, even though more male candidates appeared for the examination.
A total of 5051 females appeared in the examination from the Commerce stream with 4573. passing out of them. A total of 3948 male students passed with 1st division and 2244 female students passed with 1st division in the Commerce stream.

The overall pass percentage of Commerce stream is 88.28%.
