SEBA To Allot More Marks To Test Creativity Of Students Next Year, Says Chairman RC Jain

 

GUWAHATI: In its continuing effort at betterment, SEBA will allot 40 per cent marks towards tapping into the creativity of the students from next year.

RC Jain, the Chairman of SEBA, while talking to GPlus said last year 15 per cent marks were allotted. He said this would test the basics of the students.

A sample question paper of a critical nature is being developed for this year mainly in English, Social Science and Maths to sharpen the basics of the students, he said.

Earlier, In 2019 a book called ‘Boichitromoy Axom’ was published in 14 Modern Indian Languages (MIL) which has information on the 22 different castes and creeds of Assam, who have contributed towards the development of Assam, he said.

“Every year SEBA education system is changing in the form of changing patterns, at times better than the CBSE,” Jain said.
SEBA declared the HS 2024 results on May 9 and the HSLC 2024 results on April 20.
