Sarbananda Sonowal completes 2 years in office, releases Parivartan

GUWAHATI : Addressing the media on completion of two years of his government, Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal released the document Parivartan, describing two years of claimed development in Assam under his leadership. 

Sonowal said that the government since the first day started working against corruption.

Speaking on the government’s initiative to produce quality human resource, special importance is being given to the education sector to prepare smart students, smart teachers and smart citizens.

The government aims to produce skilled people for the development of the state.

Criticising, the previous Congress-ruled government Sonowal said that people of Assam suffered a lot because of corruption and now under the BJP rule anyone can file an FIR without fear.

Adding on, he mentioned that Assam is the only state which is updating NRC and the Indo-Bangla border fencing work is likely to be completed by December this year.
