GUWAHATI: The 9th edition of the Sitaram Chhawcharia Memorial U19 Inter-Organisation Cricket Meet is commencing from April 1, 2024, at Nehru Stadium, Guwahati.

This event organised by Bud Cricket Club serves as a platform for young cricketing talents, offering a unique opportunity to showcase their skills and prowess in the 50-over format.

The tournament, known for its commitment to nurturing budding cricketers, will witness the participation of 12 esteemed teams from various cricket academies and clubs across the region.
The teams will engage in exhilarating matches, kicking off with a league-based format.
The participating teams include ACA Cricket Academy, Ankurjyoti Club, Ana Cricket Academy, BNC Cricket Academy from Dhubri, City Cricket Coaching Centre, Guwahati Cricket Coaching Centre, Gauhati Town Club, Goalpara Cricket Academy, Rhinoland Cricket Academy, Triranga Cricket Coaching Centre from Barpeta, Newstar Club, and We R North East.
The inaugural match is scheduled between We R North East and Guwahati Cricket Coaching Centre, promising a riveting start to the tournament on April 1, 2024.
Speaking about the event, organisers emphasised the significance of providing a private platform exclusively dedicated to nurturing junior cricketers. The tournament not only fosters healthy competition but also serves as a stepping stone for young talents to excel in the sport.
