GUWAHATI: After the Central Election Committee of the Bharatiya Janata Party announced Pallab Lochan Das as the candidate from the Tezpur constituency, sitting MP from Tezpur MP Ram Prasad Sarmah lashed out at Himanta Biswa Sarma.
While speaking to media persons, Sarmah said "It’s his (Himanta Biswa Sarma) time now let him boast about it. The wheels will turn around; the times will change."
MP Ram Prasad Sarmah also announced to form a new political party along with the veteran leaders of Assam BJP, who were being neglected for 15-20 years.
