GUWAHATI: A retired, elderly was in for a shock when he found out that Rs. 3 lakh was missing from his Post Office account.
The victim Indra Bhusan Sarma, a resident of Hengrabari, Guwahati had deposited a total of Rs. 3,27,763 at the Hengrabari Post office.
When he tried to take out the money for some personal work he was shattered to know that he had only 16,307 rupees left in his account.

The postmaster informed him that the money was taken out through multiple transactions from his account. Sarma has denied the postmaster's claims and has lodged an FIR at the Dispur Police Station.
This has created a sensation in the Hengrabari area.
