Rest House Inaugurated Alongside Cultural Extravaganza In Jagiroad

 

GUWAHATI: On November 13, the Baghjap Ram Mandir in Jagiroad witnessed the commencement of the Panchayat-Level "Assam Cultural Mahasangram," an occasion dedicated to the promotion and celebration of emerging artists.

Assam Cabinet Minister Pijush Hazarika inaugurated the cultural event which serves as a platform for local talents to showcase their skills and contribute to the cultural tapestry of the state.

In addition to the cultural festivities, Minister Hazarika inaugurated a newly constructed rest house at the Baghjap intersection. The rest house, built at an estimated cost of ₹4.42 lakh, is expected to serve as a valuable facility for travellers and locals alike.

As the cultural event unfolds, it is poised to become an annual affair, providing a continuous platform for artists to showcase their creativity and contribute to the cultural legacy of Assam.
