GUWAHATI: Senior Congress leader Rahul Gandhi visited the family of Dipanjal Das at Chaygaon who died in the police firing during the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) protest in Guwahati.
The mother of the victim, Dipanjal Das, broke down into tears following Rahul Gandhi's visit.
It is to be mentioned that the Congress leader was here in Guwahati to participate in a rally organized by the Assam Congress to protest against the anti-CAA.

Rahul had also visited the residence of another martyr of the movement, 17-year-old, Sam Stafford who died in the Hatigaon area during the protests.
