State Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma on Thursday, inaugurated the Punya Dham Yatra, at Guwahati Railway Station, Paltan Bazar. Pilgrims availing the facilities can travel to 4 destinations including Vrindaban, Puri, Vaishno Devi, and Ajmer Sharif, for free.
Speaking on the occasion, Himanta Biswa Sarma said, "If the initiative becomes a success this year, we will launch another such scheme in the coming financial year."
