GUWAHATI: The Basistha Police Station team apprehended two thieves and a receiver of stolen goods in connection with the theft of an e-rickshaw (registration number AS01GR1504) on January 21.

The arrested individuals, identified as Gaurab Das (23) and Sunil Basfor (22), were taken into custody after a detailed investigation into the stolen vehicle. The stolen e-rickshaw was recovered from their possession, while its batteries were traced to Beharbari.
Additionally, the police also arrested Saddam Hussain (23), who is believed to have been the receiver of the stolen batteries.
All three individuals have been booked under relevant sections of the law, and legal action has been initiated against them.
