Authorities acted swiftly upon discovering the shipment. However, forest officials have clarified that the exact species of the fish is still under verification. A species identification process is currently underway, and the transportation of the fish has been halted until the classification is confirmed.

In the meantime, the fish are temporarily under the possession of the owner, and an ongoing investigation is being conducted to determine whether the species are protected under existing wildlife conservation laws. Depending on the outcome of the investigation, legal action may follow.
