This directive forms a part of broader guidelines to ensure peaceful and harmonious celebrations. The police have also urged Puja committees to follow eco-friendly immersion practices, stressing that no hazardous materials get dumped into water bodies.

Furthermore, unauthorised processions or gatherings without proper permissions are strictly prohibited. The advisory also makes it a note to maintain public harmony by avoiding actions that may hurt religious sentiments.

Additionally, the use of inflammable materials such as petrol or kerosene in pandals is banned. Puja pandals must be set up in a manner that doesn’t block public roads, and crowd control measures must be enforced to prevent traffic disruptions.

Failure to follow the provided guidelines will directly impact the concerned Puja committees, the advisory stated.
