GUWAHATI: In an accident in North Guwahati, a labourer was killed and another was severely injured when a heavy plate fell on them while a crane was lifting metal.
This happened at a construction site for the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) near Aswaklanta Temple.
The deceased has been identified as Idrish from Uttar Pradesh and the injured labourer was taken to a hospital nearby.
