Notorious iron smuggler and land mafia Paresh Das arrested by Dispur Police on Monday.
Allegedly, Das has been associated with iron smuggling since a long time.
He was arrested by Sivasagar Police last night by a team led by Manojjal Gogoi.

According to reports, Das has stolen steel and iron worth several crores from Puroni-Pukhuri and Na-Pukhuri of Sivasagar.
Das was earlier arrested by Sivasagr police in April, after iron worth crores were recovered from his residence, but he managed to escape from the police custody.
