GUWAHATI: In a major breakthrough, the officials of Jalukbari Police Outpost arrested one Mominur Rahman Borbhuyan (35), a notorious drugs kingpin.
The police arrested him from 7th Mile near Jalukbari, while he was sneaking into the city in a car from the Airport.
According to police sources, based on specific inputs received by the Jalukbari Outpost, an operation was led by Aditya Prakash Deuri, in-charge of Jalukbari Outpost and managed to arrest the kingpin.
Reportedly the arrested person was in the most wanted list of Narcotics and Affairs of Border (NAB), Manipur.
A case has been registered in the Narcotics and Affairs of Border (NAB).
