No End Of Hope As Cricket Lovers In Guwahati Still Visit Barsapara Stadium For India Vs SA T20I Ticket

 

GUWAHATI: As only a day is left for the India vs South Africa T20 match in Guwahati, many people are still waiting for a ticket. They want to watch their favourite player on the field. The Assam Cricket Association (ACA) has informed that all tickets for the match are sold out. 

On Friday, when players arrived at the Barsapara Cricket Stadium for practice, fans and supporters were waiting outside the stadium. Some of them came for a ticket. Two young boys from Guwahati were waiting for a ticket for the whole day. They heard from somewhere that offline tickets would be made available and so they came to the stadium with hope. It’s not just these boys who came for tickets, more than hundred people came today and returned back empty handed. 

On September 29, team India and South Africa reached Guwahati for the match. On September 30, at about 2 PM, team India arrived at the Barsapara Cricket Stadium for net practice. After two hours of practice, the team went back to their hotel at around 4 PM. Soon after team India left the grounds, the South African cricket team arrived at Barsapara for practice. 

Tight security arrangements have been made by the Guwahati Police for the match. New traffic rules are also released by the office of the Deputy Commissioner of Police, Traffic, Guwahati. 

The ACA authority said that almost 39 thousand tickets have been sold out. The stadium is ready, and full arrangements have been made to deal with any type of situation, like bad weather, etc.

Although tickets are not available, still many cricket lovers have not given up their hope and are trying to arrange or buy through their resources and references.

The India and South Africa T20 match will be held on October 2, Sunday at Barsapara Cricket Stadium, Guwahati.
