GUWAHATI: In a recent decision, the NF Railway has announced the continuation of periodic services for special trains, including train no. 05638/05637 (Silchar – Naharlagun - Silchar) and train no. 05628/05627 (Agartala – Guwahati - Agartala), until February 2024. The trains will maintain their existing schedule, including days of service, timings, stoppages, and composition. The details for both special train services are as follows:
The special train no. 05638 (Silchar - Naharlagun) will persist in its operations every Monday, from December 4, 2023, to February 26, 2024. Similarly, the services for special train no. 05637 (Naharlagun - Silchar) will be extended every Tuesday, from December 5, 2023, to February 27, 2024. Additionally, the services of both trains will be further extended for 13 trips beyond their initially notified period, commencing on November 27 and 28, 2023, respectively.
Furthermore, special train no. 05628 (Agartala-Guwahati) will continue its services every Thursday, from December 7, 2023, to February 29, 2024. Correspondingly, train no. 05627 (Guwahati-Agartala) services will be extended every Friday, from December 8, 2023, to March 1, 2024. Similar to the first set of trains, the services of both these trains will also be extended for 13 additional trips from their earlier notified period, starting on November 30 and December 1, 2023, respectively.
