GUWAHATI: A body of a student of Class 8 was found inside a school at Goalpara on Thursday which led the entire facility to go into a state of chaos.
The incident was reported at Mahatma Gandhi Senior Secondary School located in the Bhalukdubi area of the district.
Talking to G Plus, the Superintendent of Police of Goalpara district said, “The deceased has been identified to be Nilojyoti Barman, who was found hanging inside the class in the school premises in the early hours of the morning. He was an original resident of Kokrajhar.”
According to media reports, the deceased came to the school yesterday (Wednesday) and was unwilling to join the Mahatma Gandhi Senior Secondary School. However, the parents convinced the student to get admitted here due to personal reasons.
