The prohibitory orders aim to restrict unauthorised individuals, including parents and guardians, from being within 100 meter surrounding the exam premises. Also, the use of loud music or high-volume sound systems around the exam centers is strictly prohibited during the exam days.

Violations of the order will be dealt with under Section 223 of the BNSS and Section 10(1) of the Assam Public Examination (Measures for Prevention of Unfair Means in Recruitment) Act, 2024.

However, the imposed restrictions do not apply to Police, Army, and Para-Military forces deployed at the centers, as well as examination officials and the candidates themselves.

The exams are scheduled for September 15 and 29, and October 27, 2024.
