GUWAHATI: The Assam State Transport Corporation (ASTC) is set to inaugurate the new mini Interstate Bus Terminal (ISBT) at Khanapara on January 1, 2025.

Talking to GPlus, a senior official from ASTC said, "The terminal is designed to provide passengers with a comfortable travel experience and will have modern facilities, including a waiting room, washrooms, food stalls, and a dedicated area for lactating mothers."
Additionally, the new facility will cater to night bus services and includes a guest house for travellers needing overnight accommodation.
