The tournament will feature a maximum of 20 teams, with each team comprising seven registered players. The Guwahati Sixes Cricket Tournament rules will govern the event, ensuring a fast-paced format. Each participating team is guaranteed to play at least six matches over the course of the tournament, which will culminate in championships across four categories: Cup, Plate, Bowl, and Spoon divisions.
In addition, all matches will be live-streamed on FANCODE, allowing cricket fans to catch the action online. The organisers will provide each team with a set of jerseys and caps, contributing to a carnival-like atmosphere at the event.
About Six-a-Side Cricket
Six-a-side cricket is the fastest format of the game, with each match lasting approximately 45 minutes. Teams consist of six playing members, and each team faces five overs. Bowlers, except for the wicketkeeper, are required to bowl one over each, and batters must retire upon reaching 30 runs. Detailed tournament rules will be shared with teams upon confirmation of participation.
The tournament is open to clubs, corporate teams, and office groups, offering a unique platform for sportsmanship and competition.
