GUWAHATI: Daughter of a bus conductor, Maj. Khushboo Kanwar has set an example for all of us. She will be the 1st Contingent Commander and will lead the All Women Contingent of Assam Rifles on Republic Day.
Khushboo is an AC officer and was commissioned into Army service 2012, and presently on deputation with Assam Rifles.

During her school, she studied only on scholarship and later pursued her education and MBA from government colleges.
As a message to all the young aspiring candidates, Khushboo said, "If I can lead a contingent on the majestic Rajpath, anyone can make their dreams come true with their hard work, confidence and will power.
