GUWAHATI: Ghana Kanta Chutia aged 46 from the All India Trinamool Congress (TMC) party has submitted his nomination from the Lakhimpur Parliamentary Constituency in Assam. Chutia who hails from Lathia in Dhemaji, Assam is one of the key members of All India Trinamool Congress (TMC).

According to the affidavit submitted by him for the nomination, Ghana Kanta Chutia’s total income declared in Income Tax Return (ITR) for FY 2022-23 is ₹5,11,620.

Also, his Gross Total Value of all Offshore Assets has been declared to be ₹33,10,000.
Ghana Kanta Chutia’s total value of all Immovable Assets has been declared to be ₹90,00,000 along with ₹10,59,000 in liabilities. Ghana Kanta Chutia completed his M.A. in Philosophy from North-Eastern Hill University (NEHU), Shillong in 2002.
