GUWAHATI: The Government of Assam has appointed Chinmoy Prakash Phookun as Joint Secretary to the Transport department, and MD, ASTC as additional charge.

A notification was issued in this regard on April 3.

It also said that Manavendra Pratap Singh, Secretary to the Act East Policy Affairs Department and MD, AIDC (addl. charge) is posted as MD, AIIDC as additional charge.
