GUWAHATI: A massive fire broke out at Solapara area near Apsara Cinema Hall in Guwahati in the late evening of February 20.
According to reports, fire gutted around seven houses and godowns. Locals alledged that the cause of the fire is casued due to cylinder blast.
However, fire tenders rushed to the spot and were able to bring the fire under control.

Fire dept. officials are yet to brief on the actual reason behind the fire.
Meanwhile, state BJP Minister Queen Ojha and Siddhartha Bhattacharya visted the incident spot and took stock of the situation.
No casulties reported so far.
