GUWAHATI: A student from Manipur was found hanging in her rented residence in Panikhaiti, Guwahati, on Thursday, March 7.

The victim was a student of a private university in Guwahati. Her body was found in her room at around 2 PM.
Talking to GPlus, a police official from the Panikhaiti outpost said, “We found the body in the afternoon, and after which her parents arrived. The body will be sent for post-mortem today (March 7). We suspect interpersonal relationships to be the cause of her taking such an extreme step, but we are still looking into it.”
Further investigations are underway.
