GUWAHATI: Ricky Khan (20), a resident of Guwahati, Assam, has been arrested by Changsari Police for posting derogatory comments about the Hindu deity Shri Ram on the social media platform X. The incident was brought to light through the controversial posts, which prompted widespread online outrage and raised concerns about potential social unrest.

Khan, also known by his alias Rekib Ali, was swiftly apprehended following an online backlash from the public. The posts were criticised for their potential to offend religious sentiments and disrupt communal harmony in the region.
